Cookies...Works for Me Wednesday

Cookies ALWAYS work for me.  They really are the world's most perfect food.

And I'm not talking just decorated cookies here...chocolate chip (my personal favorite), oatmeal, peanut butter...ALL cookies!
That's what I was so excited when my friend Maria from Two Peas and Their Pod released her e-cookbook, Cookie Cravings.

  4. Selmas chocolate chip supreme cookie is my all-time favorite cookie. If I could replicate that cookie I'd make them all the time and probably gain 100 lbs, which is why I don't try.

  52. My all time favorite cookie is the Chocolate Toffee Cookie from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. My boyfriend and I always used to get them but they stopped making them! I had to come up with a recipe for them and I think I did a pretty good job haha

  95. I looooooooooooooooove chocolate chip cookies! Here in The Netherlands, they don't really sell good ones, they don't taste the way they should, in my opinion. So I always have to bake them myself (oh gee, that's awful of course). I'm currently unemployed, so I've been baking cookies every day for about a week now... I've added chopped pecans and chavings of almond... Oh my, I'm in cookie-heaven just thinking about them. And now I need to go to the grocery store... Ran out of butter and eggs and I want to get some baking done today...

  128. My all time favorite? Well, I make a mean double-chocolate oatmeal that is very chewy and very chocolaty and it stays fresh for days as long as it's in an airtight container. Well now, wait a minute, maybe my favorite is a buttery linzer heart shortbread. No, no, wait, it's a buttery lemon cookie with a tart lemon glaze. Oh heck, I can't decide. If it contains butter and sugar, it's my favorite!

  151. My favorite cookies were the ones i made with my Grammy. Every week when my mom visited we would kick her out of the kitchen and make cookies. They were usually chocolate chip, but I remember making others like sugar cookies and chocolate crinkles, and gingerbread. All the memories are coming back now.
