{Update: Congratulations, Stephanie at The Happy Homemaker! She's our Martha giveaway winner!!!}

Mother's Day is one week plus one day away. Are you ready? Is your family? ;) Have you dropped any Mother's-Day-is-around-the-corner hints?

Here's my Mother's Day gift to you...or your mom...or your aunt...or your sister... It's just a little thank you for reading the blog. I really DO get a little thrill with every comment!
martha giveaway
Have you seen Martha Stewart's line of goodies at Macy's? {My sister bought the cake doilies for me...they are adorable!} I thought you might like a few goodies of your own to play with! :) You'll receive: 100 Martha mini cupcake liners, 1 set of cupcake/cookie stencils and a box of 6 dotty cupcake and cookie boxes.

Here's the deal....leave a comment (by Monday at 5pm central, US only) and tell me:

What would you like for Mother's Day?

I want you to be selfish here...I won't tell. We all want world peace and happy, loving children, blah, blah. What do you REALLY want? A trip to Paris? a Kitchen Aid mixer? a $5,000 Pottery Barn gift card? a solid day of quiet? an afternoon cooking with the Take Home Chef? ;)

Here's my short list...
How cute is this shirt from King Arthur?!?!?

How about one of these aprons from Heavenly Hostess? These make me want to bake in pearls and heels!

But, here's my biggie...a trip to The Spa at The Hotel Hershey. Yes, I want to be rubbed, scrubbed and buffed in chocolate. I want to drift back to my room scented with cocoa and order a hot fudge sundae and a chocolate martini from room service. {Hershey's...hubby...are you listening? My bags are packed!}

Alright, now it's your turn...

  1. Those are adorable!

My birthday, anniversary and Mother's day are all within a few weeks of each other. I have been wanting a new-to-me (vintage) sewing machine and serger. Thankfully, a friend gave me her serger and I found a steal on craigslist...so I already have what I want. Otherwise, I'd like a new haircut.

    ReplyDelete
  2. A whole new kitchen! Complete with new appliances, new fancy cookware, and sweet, sweet storage space. MMM, storage (drools).

    ReplyDelete
  3. What I'd like for Mother's Day is for this baby to be born...but we'll have to wait until that Tuesday. :-)

Instead, I'd love to have a KitchenAid Stand Mixer. I've always wanted one!

  4. A 2nd floor addition to our house. It's been in the making for years now and with the economy we can't get a loan! =( We're busting at the seems in our little house!
SLIGHTLY more realistically speaking I'd like a shopping spree. I don't need much, maybe $200? I need some new clothes bad!!
    Happy Mother's Day! =)

    ReplyDelete
  5. I want the house we put an offer on and a new camera with photography classes!

    ReplyDelete
  6. A shopping spree at Williams-Sonoma or at a Lilly Pulitzer shop.

Oh, and Mario Kart Wii :)

    ReplyDelete
  7. I love Martha stewart stuff!

What I would really love for Mother's day is to go on a shopping spree where money was not an issue! But more realistically, I would like a bike:)

    ReplyDelete
  8. I'd like to have 'just one more' Mother's Day with my mom.

And to finally become a mother myself.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Martha's stuff is too cute! For Mother's Day I sent my husband a link to a mom necklace at LaBella Jewels that I hope he ordered. Of course, I'm always glad to get a gift certificate to any spa, too!

  10. I'm a first-time mom this year - and could desperately use a day at the beauty parlor. I had 15 weeks of bedrest before the baby arrived in January. So I haven't had a hair cut since sometime before October!!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I really want a new pair of workout shoes and a pair of those awesome Zumba workout pants that never leave your skin wet with your sweat when working out. I too could use a hair cut and color. I see gray everywhere! Sigh. BTW, very cool giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  12. I would absolutely love two whole days to myself. I would finish my sewing projects(and start some more projects), read, and blog. And eat chocolate - that's a given.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I want a housekeeper. I just recently had to go back to work part-time and my house has not recovered. Just every other week or once a month. Just someone else please come do some serious scrubbing. Thanks. Are you my fairy godmother? Do you have my husbands number?

  14. I could use a pastamaker. I've always wanted to make my own pasta!

    ReplyDelete
  15. A KitchenAid. And a bigger kitchen to go with it. I'm a simple girl with simple needs, huh? :-)

    ReplyDelete
  16. I would *love* a day at the spa. Sigh, it's not going to happen, but it would be so heavenly!

  17. Awesome giveaway...are you shipping to Canada?

I'd so love a digital SLR. It's been on my list forever...and ever...and ever. That would be a perfect gift.

A years worth of Molly Maid would also be delightful!!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I've already asked - and hope I'll get! - a 5K training class and a new sports bra. Sounds crazy, right? I mean, who'd want to torture themselves with months of running instead of pamper themselves with a spa day or other luxuries? But it's my latest attempt to take off some weight, get healthy, and set a good example of personal fitness for my kids. I'm doing OK on my own so far, but am excited about a 5K class!

    ReplyDelete
  19. I want to vacation for a week with my husband with a spa day, a day of shopping, good food, beautiful hotel, all the amenities...we've never done that, but hopefully when he finishes Ph.D. school in 2 years or so we will be able to.

I'm the meantime, I'd love the martha stewart set...fun, fun!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I want a Cabela's zero-gravity chaise lounge chair for Mother's Day! I sat in one at a friend's house and have decided that I cannot live without at least one of those on my back patio.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Well, I'm not a mother. But, here are some things I would like. Going to a good Japanese restaurant, getting my hair done, massage, spa, movie, shopping with no budget, and maybe even traveling. Thanks for the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  22. I want a new camera. A digital rebel xti so I can begin dabbling in photography. Love the giveaway!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I would love just pampering myself to some shopping, getting a haircut and dye, and a makeover for my house. But if all that doesn't happen, I wouldn't mind shopping at garage sales all day! :P

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'm 100% with you on the Hersey's Spa thing... but really any spa would do - I just want to be pampered for a weekend.

If the hubs can't swing that... an hour long massage would work in a pinch.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Such cute stuff! I'd like the trip-definitely! We went to Hershey, PA two years ago and it was amazing....I longed for that hotel though....

    ReplyDelete
  26. I would love a new kitchen and a new master bath. If I'm really dreaming, I want enough money to quit my job. :) Then I want some calorie free See's candy. Hey-we're dreaming aren't we? Happy Mother's Day!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well, I'm not a mom, so I don't get gifts for Mother's Day, but if I did I would love some great new scrapbook supplies!

    ReplyDelete
  28. As of right now, I would LOVE a pregnancy massage. *sigh*

    ReplyDelete
  29. I would love a Kitchen Aid mixer and a shopping spree! Ahhh...

    ReplyDelete
  30. I would like a trip to somewhere warm!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Such an open ended question. There are so many things I'd like to have. I think I'll say my dream house. I want large rooms. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Call me sentimental, but i would really love to have an antique looking locket to keep photos of my children in. :)

    MutheringHeights@gmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  33. Oh man, where to begin? First of all, a babysitter. For, I dunno, maybe 2 years straight. I'll pick 'em up when they're potty trained. :) Second, a personal chef... make that a personal Italian chef. Someone who's not afraid to use a little garlic, and serves everything with yummy warm rolls. *drool* Third, a Wii so I can work off all of the calories I will incur from #2.

    That's a good start. :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. What I would really love to get for Mother's Day is a free day not the day of Mother's Day but, hubby's next day off will work. I want to get a hotel room with a big jacuzzi tub and just be left alone for one whole day and night. Just to curl up with a good book and drift off to sleep when I want. Oh sounds like heaven! My kids are 3 and 4. I've been asking for a day like that for years and I still haven't gotten one. :O(

    ReplyDelete
  35. I guess I'd need kids to qualify...but a trip to Scotland to visit some old friends and a couple thousand dollars wouldn't hurt!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I would love a new apron from etsy or a mother's ring....yes, jewlery sounds nice!

    ReplyDelete
  37. My son and I both have birthdays in December, so I'd love a blue topaz ring to represent our birthdays. What a great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Because I like to craft, I would like a $50.00 gift card at A.C. Moore. I'm in heaven when I go there. My list can go on and on and on, but I'll only mention one more thing. A $50.00 gift card at Books-A-Million. I can actually live in that place. I'm a big fan of reading. One of my favorite past time. Oh, I so loe Martha Stewart and I'm excited about this give away. Thanks for sharing with us.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Let's see, I could go for a trip to the spa, a shopping spree, a new kitchen aid mixer, and the list could go on. But I won't bore you. Ha.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I would like to have a new set of cupboards for Mother's Day. My kitchen just does not have enough storage!

    ReplyDelete
  41. A trip to Paris, and a driver to take me to every bakery making macarons...and an allowance to buy the macarons.

    ReplyDelete
  42. If I could have anything at all it would be a new kitchen. Mine is way too drab. With all new appliances. But if I had to choose just one thing it would be a Kitchenaid mixer, and new cookie sheets. I love baking cookies with the kids.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think my mother would like to just have me spend the whole day with her. I would do something that the both of us would enjoy.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'm a gadget junkie and I really, really want an iPhone. I've wanted one since they were introduced because they an MP3 player, internet device, calendar/address book and phone all rolled into one.And they look cool too. I haven't gotten one yet because not only are they not the cheapest phones on the market, it will raise our monthly cell phone bill. It's the gift you just have to keep paying for each month.

    ReplyDelete
  45. All of those sound great to me - although I'm not a mother (unless you count my yellow lab!).

Are you from PA? Just curious - the Hotel Hershey is practically in my backyard. Had breakfast at the Circular Dining Room this morning, in fact!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Well since we seem to be dreaming big here I want...

A screened in porch to eat and do school in in the spring and fall...

A high end sewing machine with all the bells and whistles...

    A new digital camera...

    and

    A videocamera

    ReplyDelete
  47. I'd like someone to find and buy me all the expensive, exotic ingredients that are called for in lots of the recipes I'd like to try. It would be nice to have a day of cooking and baking with everything on hand!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Well, I just got the new kitchenaid mixer. It is actually for mother's day, but... I would love a weekend trip for hubby and me. We never get to go places without kids...

    ReplyDelete
  49. Oh how I want a spa day...OR a new oven, mine is ancient and I have so many tricks to have things come out perfect...would just like to put it in the oven and take it our when I am done. I'll take either, but the oven would be first choice.
Hope you get your spa day at Hershey!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Hmmm, I would like time to go and get a new haircut... maybe a pedicure to go with?!

    Thanks for this opportunity!
    Happy Mother's Day!

    ReplyDelete
  53. I am such a craft monger...I want to do it all! For Mother's Day I would love a kiln and all the supplies. I would love love love to make my own pottery to give as gifts. Seems like so much fun! Happy Mother's Day to all you moms!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hmmm, how about a being tutored for the day in cookie decorating by you?? Or maybe duplicates of all your cookie cutters. No? Oh, OK. Then I guess I'd like 24 hours alone in a hotel with room service.

    ReplyDelete
  55. A top of the line rockin blender from williams sonoma.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I would love to have someone come into my home, just for a one time thing, and completely clean my house, top to bottom, organize cupboards, closets, shelves etc.... What a fantasy!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Let see...besides the quiet of just one day! I would say a spa day to get the ole' tootsies done and a facial. Then a nice dinner and why not throw in a Pandora bead for my bracelet.

    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I went out and bought my Mother's day gift last weekend - a new camera. My boys will make me something though - i'm sure of it!

LOVE the Martha stuff...those dotty things are KEWL!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I would love a built in bookcase for my hundreds of cookbooks....

    ReplyDelete
  60. New (stainless steel)double ovens!!! My ovens are a little old and have been letting me down lately...things aren't baking correctly...not good for someone who LOVES to bake!!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. I would love a fancy schmancy DAY at the spa. All the works. Hours and hours of work.

And the price of the house I really really want to come down 20,000 so we can buy it.

Happy Mommy Day to all of you!

    ReplyDelete
  62. I want a consultation with a personal shopper like from Ann Taylor or Niemen Marcus. I want someone to find all the clothes that will flatter and help me choose a new style that I feel comfortable

    ReplyDelete
  63. Like commenter Stephanie, my birthday,Mother's Day and anniversary are with in weeks of each other too. I had been BEGGING for a KitchenAid mixer to help with all the baking I LOVE to do. Well I got it for my birthday a few weeks back and was told that it was going to be my gift for all three. So I already have what I want. I would love to have a weekend vacation with just hubby though.

    ReplyDelete
  64. First let me say how absolutely ADORABLE the Martha Stewart Baking Supplies is! I had no idea about the line at Macy's and I may just have to head on over there!

As for Mother's Day I would love a quiet day with the family, quiet being the operative word!

I never thought about how much louder my life would get when I had a child but I do occasionally think back fondly to those days of absolute silence.

If I can't have a quiet day I will take a sunny spring day picnic in the park!

    ReplyDelete
  65. What cute gifts!! What I'd really like for Mother's Day is for someone else to get my home ready to sell. I want extreme home makeover to come in, send me away for a week, and let me come home to a house with new carpet, new paint, beautifully decorated that I can put on the market and it will sell in 3 days! (either that, or some really good malted milk balls!)

    ReplyDelete
  66. I want a Cupcakes Pink Vera Bradley Bag. I have left the catalog out for about a month now hoping my husband would take the hint. We'll see!

    ReplyDelete

Is this too much to ask?

    ReplyDelete
  70. I'm not a mom (yet), does this count?

I want a house with a real kitchen instead of this dinky little apartment with hardly enough counter space to roll out dough! :) A girl can dream.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I'm a SAHM with two little guys. I want time at home alone. DH is always willing to stay home with them and send me packing for a few hours, but it just is not the same as solicitude in my stamp room or even cleaning time without little feet running through my floor sweepings...

    ReplyDelete
  72. I know this will sound weird but having someone cook for me on that day. And not just spaghetti but someone a bit more than that. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  73. I would love a spa package as well as a nice digital SLR with classes.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I would love a custom designed mud room. It would make my life so much easier! Of course a personal masseuse would be okay, too! =)

    ReplyDelete
  75. I want a night of uninterrupted sleep. No crying baby at 3am (though I do love him to death). I just want to be able to sleep ;) Not happening this year! Oh well!

    ReplyDelete
  76. I absolutely love the "bake" shirt. So very adorable!! I would LOVE a massage. That would be just glorious!!

    ReplyDelete
  77. I want a necklace that has a charm with each of my kiddos initials on it. Several etsy stores have beautiful ones that I have drooled over for a long time! I also wouldn't mind a few hours to scrapbook....alone....in the quiet! Thanks for the contest!

    ReplyDelete
  78. To be honest, I do want my son who had a temporal lobe resection done on May 1st to be seizure free for the rest of his life. I want him to be able to get strong, go back to work, etc. I have watch him suffer since October 2007. As I sit here at The Cleveland Clinic watching him recover, I do feel blessed that he has such great doctors.

Now on a selfish note, I would love a new kitchen aid mixer...or a room to do all of my scrapbooking/cardmaking in.

    pscole3467 at gmail dot com

    ReplyDelete
  79. I'd love a room of my own to write and paint and work in. Unfortunately, you can't add a room to a condo. :) Happy Mother's Day to everyone!!!

    ReplyDelete
  80. The giveaway prize is adorable!

My dream gift for Mother's Day would be to have the remodeling projects around my house completed. I broke my leg in January, the DAY BEFORE the new tile for my bathroom got delivered, so it's still sitting on the floor in boxes because it has been moved to the bottom of the priority list.

Or for a garden to magically be planted in my yard, which is a little bit more realistic.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I love your giveaway. What I would love for mother's day is a class locally with Elisa Strauss, a new beautiful patio set and a beautiful watch I've got my eyes on! (I think I am really dreaming)

    ReplyDelete
  82. Hmmm... Considering where we are financially, I'm not expecting anything. But... if this is just a "wishing" type thing... well then, I'd love anything off the kitchen wish list I posted on Friday. To narrow it down... the dual fuel Viking range.

Hey. A girl can dream, can't she?

Or a trip somewhere with just my hubby.

    waymorehomemade@yahoo.com

    ReplyDelete
  83. I would love a patio, complete with pergola!

    ReplyDelete
  84. I would like a two week long vacation with my husband. And I would like to magically not miss my baby or feel bad about that. I would like my vacation to be in Polynesia. I would also like no technology of any sort there that would connect me to the real world.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I want a shopping spree in a fabric store to stock up on every kind of cute fabric and also a whole basket of different colors of thread. If it was at a store that included craft stuff, I wouldn't mind a few minutes to load my cart in that department either. There I said it. That is what I want.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I'd love a larger than possible gift card to Lowe's/Home Depot/Pottery Barn so that I can finish decorating our nearly 4 year old home. Many walls are still bare.

On the other (more practical) list - I'd love a good massage.

    ReplyDelete
  87. My birthday is only a few days before Mother's Day so they always get lumped together.

All I'd really like is a weekend away with my hubby - no kids, no cooking, no laundry (and none to do when I get back either) - so i guess i want a housekeeper too LOL.

But that day to myself - "a solid day of quiet" would be absolutely wonderful too.

    ReplyDelete
  88. If we're being greedy here then I want new living room furniture!!

    ReplyDelete
  89. My secret wish for Mother's Day would be a nice big house!!! But let's be realistic. I want a watch and a day with out having to yell at my kids. I think I might actually get the watch!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  90. I want a trip to Ireland, but I would settle for a gift card from Anthropolgie or a screen printing machine.

    ReplyDelete
  91. I want lots of quilt fabric and a Kindle and some clothes from Ann Taylor Loft and a massage and facial...and I will probably get a card.

    ReplyDelete
  92. All new pots and pans from Williams Sonoma.....maybe just a huge shopping spree would do! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  93. I'd love a large double oven, but my current oven space is too small. It would take some major remodeling to allow for that.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Hm...First, I would love for these boys to remember Mother's Day! In a perfect world...I would like for my kids to find a new bead (that they picked out) for my bracelet, I would like to take a pottery class...and for someone to do the dishes for a day! Thanks! Beth W.

    ReplyDelete
  95. You amaze me!! The things you bake.

For Mother's Day: well it's several things actually.....mani and pedi; several workout outfits from NIKE as well as a pair of NIKE running shoes.

    That's it! :)

    ReplyDelete
  96. All of yours would do =o) But there is a workout video for the Wii that I would love. More cake decorating instructional videos. Flowers for my garden. Hehee....

    ReplyDelete
  97. I'd love a fun vacation with just my husband! tropical.. warm... :)

    ReplyDelete
  98. i love the giveaway. i'm hoping for a day or overnight trip to the ocean! :) just me and my little family.

    ReplyDelete
  99. What would I love?

I'd love the use of a landscaping crew's manual labor for a few hours.... I live at the beach, and the amount of sand that blew in this winter was incredible. Three weekends of shoveling, and I'm not done yet! Once all the sand is moved back OUT of the garden, I can start planting and digging for fun....

    ReplyDelete
  100. I have been wanting a new food processor for a long time. A full day at the spa would be nice too though!

    ReplyDelete
  101. I would love a new and pretty apron!! Those are terrific but I want a full one to cover my shirt.

The thing I would most want (at this time) is a new camera! With various lens, filters, case the whole shabang! :)
    ~ingrid

    ReplyDelete
  102. Love the givaway! Good luck to everyone :)

    ReplyDelete
  103. Those are some cute aprons! I would like a pedicure.

Those Martha stensils are funny because I have an old article from Living where she uses potato mashers, spatuals, etc to make those same designs with colored sugars on cookies. Never had a good kitchen utensil to do them with so never tried it. I do believe the stencils would be easier. Great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  104. I told hubby I wanted a new rolling pin...exciting huh?! A heavy-duty one please!

    Thanks for hosting the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  105. I would love a massage or pedicure for mother's day. But I am probably getting widow box planters instead!

    ReplyDelete
  106. We've just announced that we are expecting our 3rd child in October! I'm so excited, except that I've never been pregnant in the summer before, so I don't have any summer maternity clothes. For this Mother's Day, I would love a shopping spree for some cute new clothes!

    ReplyDelete
  107. I just want a day of relaxation at home- I want my hubby to make me dinner, and pick up after our girl, while I lounge around and play all day :) That is MY wish!

Hubby already promised the dinner... But I don't know if I'm getting the rest. *pouts* lol!

I'd love to win this, maybe it would make up for it!

    ReplyDelete
  108. A pedicure and a facial would be wonderful, especially if I could take my daughters along.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Ok, so I am totally being selfish here! But I really want a new camera and a new lens. Ok, I think I could settle just for a new camera!

    Great contest!! Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  110. What a cute giveaway! I've been debating entering because I'm not a mother myself, but I sure would like to enter for my mom. If that's not okay though, I won't mind. :-)

Anyway, I am pretty sure that for mother's day, my mom would like all of her laundry to be done, all of the meals to be cooked, and everything to be spotless so she can sit back and relax. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  111. The Kitchen Aid mixer is definitely on the list of things I would LOVE to have. But really, on Mother's Day? I would love to have some time to myself.

I know that probably sounds absolutely horrible, but my toddler, along with being extremely challenging for the last week, Hubs was out of town for three days and the boy has been sick all weekend. I need some rest!

    ReplyDelete
  112. What I would like for Mother's Day:

    * a day at the spa
    * Teeny Tiny Initials necklace from Lisa Leonard
    * my bedroom painted

Thanks for the opportunity to win!! And I love your ideas for your Mother's Day gifts.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  114. A new cat and a good book. Quiet time to sit and read . . .

    ReplyDelete
  115. Now I feel a little guilty...I have THREE trips the Hershey Spa planned in the next month! One with the hubby and two with girlfriends. It's a magical place, I can't get enough. :) You can use the facilities ALL DAY if you want, so we sit in this gorgeous library in fluffy robes for hours sipping luscious hot cocoa, nibbling on goodies, and chatting. Hubby and I are working out then getting a couples massage. I am going to miss Hershey!!!

    ReplyDelete
  116. I would love to have a child to celebrate Mother's Day with! God's timing is perfect though!!!

    ReplyDelete
  117. I LOVE your apron picks!!! What I want is to win the mega millions lottery when it's enough that my hubby never has to go to work and we can buy all the cool gadgets we want to fill the house we'll design and build in a neighborhood we'll design and build and fill with our family and closest friends!

  118. What do I really want for Mother's Day? A full time gardener. Yup. DH tries, but he is so busy with other things...the garden never quite gets to the place I'd love it to be...everything mulched, all the weeds gone, a new gazebo, another swing in the woods...I could go on and on... :) But what I'm getting...not sure. Probably another tree for the garden, some plants, and books and movies. The usual. ;-) ~~Rhonda
